A consultation has started for suggestion for 3 new road names on the new William Davis estate due to be built soon, known locally as "Daisy Bank 2"

Grounds Maintenance Contract
Our Grounds Maintenance Contract is up for renewal in April 2024, with the deadline for tenders being 20th February 2024.
The winning tender will be decided at our 26th February public Parish meeting.

Parish Council Elections
On May 4th the elections for Hathern Parish Council are scheduled to take place, alongside other elections.
If you are interested in joining the Parish Council then please contact our clerk or Charnwood Borough Council for information. You will need to complete and submit the nomination forms in person at CBC offices by the 4th April.

Are You Wild About Wildlife?
Hathern Wildlife Group are developing a wildlife area on the Parish Council's Shepshed Road allotment site, and are:
- Creating a wildflower meadow
- Planting up a new pond
- Developing a nursery for raising wildflowers
- Building habitats & an observation shelter
The Wildlife Group is on-site (weather permitting) on Tuesdays, 10am-12pm and Sundays, 2pm-4pm.

Help Name Our Community Woodland!
Residents of Hathern have the exciting opportunity to help name the newly planted community woodland off Golden Square.
To suggest a name, simply fill in the form HERE Friday 17th February!
Hathern Parish Council will then announce the woodland's name at the Parish Council meeting on Monday 20th February and via Social Media.

Road Naming - Stonebow Village
Because the parish council for Stonebow Village is not yet active, neighbouring Parish Councils have been contacted to consult on the naming of new streets to be adopted at the former Garendon Park.

A road closure is required on Zouch Bridge on the 20th February for one day. Closure scheduled to be between 0800 and 1800.
